Write for us
Golden Garden Journal welcomes pitches that help readers understand gardens through thoughtful explanation, a distinct point of view or a useful way to observe and care for plants and spaces. Send proposals through the Contact page.
What we welcome
We are interested in clear pieces about growing, garden care, design, plants and garden culture. A strong contribution has one central question, a defined reader and a subject that remains useful beyond a passing trend. Original explanatory writing and carefully framed personal experience can both be a fit.
Make the pitch specific
Tell us the working idea, the main point you want readers to take away, why it suits Golden Garden Journal and how you would approach it. Mention any sources or expertise the piece would rely on, and flag regional limits or uncertainty. A focused proposal is more helpful than a list of broad topics.
Before sending
Please submit your proposal through the Contact page and choose the editorial question option. Do not send unpublished full manuscripts unless requested. A pitch is not a guarantee of publication; we will consider fit, clarity and reader value.
Gardening is a practice of noticing
A thriving garden starts with attention: to a plant's habits, a patch of ground and the season unfolding around it.
