Editorial policy
Golden Garden Journal aims to make garden subjects clear, careful and worth returning to. We separate established information from interpretation, avoid overstating what a general article can tell any one gardener, and welcome readers' questions and corrections.
Accuracy and care
We check factual statements against suitable source material before publication and take care with names, definitions and descriptions of plant needs. Gardening depends on local conditions, so we identify where climate, soil or site can change an answer and avoid presenting broad guidance as a guarantee. We do not offer professional horticultural or safety advice.
Independence and partnerships
Editorial choices are made for reader relevance, not in exchange for payment or a promised favourable view. Paid partnerships and sponsored material are labelled clearly where they appear, and their commercial nature is not hidden in editorial copy.
Corrections
If you spot an error, contact us with the article title and the detail in question. We review correction requests and amend material when warranted, with a clear note where the change materially affects the meaning.
Images and illustrations
Images are used to support the subject, not to imply that an example is a universal result. Some illustrations may be AI-generated; when relevant, we identify them as illustrations rather than documentary photographs.
Gardening is a practice of noticing
A thriving garden starts with attention: to a plant's habits, a patch of ground and the season unfolding around it.
